Inspection of Electrical Installation

The electrical installation of a residential unit must be inspected every 25 years to verify compliance with the General Regulations on Electrical Installations (AREI).

When selling your residential unit, you also need such an inspection certificate. For the inspection and the accompanying certificate, we collaborate with Buvektro, a highly reliable partner who can both perform (or arrange) the inspection and ensure the installation complies with regulations.

Be sure to check out Buvektro's Facebook page!

Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

Through the EPC guide, you can find out whether or not you need an EPC certificate.https://apps.energiesparen.be/epc-wegwijzer

If you need an EPC certificate for residential units, common areas of an apartment building, or a small non-residential unit, you will need an energy expert Type A. You can find an energy expert in your area via the VEKA website.

An EPC for a non-residential unit can be issued by an energy expert Type D, who can also be found on the VEKA website.
